Study Says

Long
gone are the days when Marcia Brady’s
sweet smile and Winnie Cooper’s brains
and beauty were how television
represented teen-age girls.
According to a new
study conducted by the Parents
Television Council (PTC),
Hollywood
is shockingly
obsessed with sexualizing teen girls, to
the point where underage female
characters are shown participating in an
even higher percentage of sexual
situations than their adult
counterparts: 47 percent to 29 percent
respectively.
PTC’s
report, entitled “New Target: A Study of
Teen Female Sexualization on Primetime
TV” is based on a content analysis drawn
from the 25 most popular shows in the
12-17 demographic throughout the
2009-2010 television season.
“The
results from this report show
Tinseltown’s eagerness to not only
objectify and fetishize young girls, but
to sexualize them in such a way that
real teens are led to believe their sole
value comes from their sexuality," said
PTC President Tim Winter. "This report
is less about the shocking numbers that
detail the sickness of early
sexualization in our entertainment
culture and more about the generation of
young girls who are being told how
society expects them to behave."
“Storylines on the most popular shows
among teens are sending the message to
our daughters that being sexualized
isn’t just acceptable, it should be
sought after,” Winter said. “It is
outrageous that TV executives have made
it their business to profit off of
programs that depict teen girls
blissfully being sexualized by casual
partners.”
Examples used by
the PTC to
illustrate their findings, all taken
from prime time broadcast television,
included Taylor Momsen’s character in
bed with Ed Westwick on “Gossip Girl,”
Annalynne McCord taking a swig of
alcohol while donning a bra and panties
on “90210,” and a lesbian kiss between
cheerleaders on “Glee.”
The
data, based on factors ranging from the
genre of the program to the gender of
the initiator and the participant’s
attitude toward the sexualizing
incident, also revealed that 98 percent
of the sexual incidents involving
underage female characters occurred
outside of any form of committed
relationship, and that 73 percent of the
underage sexualized incidents were
presented in a humorous manner or as a
punch line to a joke.
Winter also claims that TV networks
can’t be trusted as 75 percent of the
time they leave off the “S” descriptor
to warn audiences about sexual content.
However, Adam Temple, the Coalitions
Director at the TV Watch Organization,
a broad-based coalition that opposes
government control of TV programming,
said that examining the age appropriate
rating is the most important factor to
take into consideration.
“You
have to look at the whole story. First
and foremost shows are rated based on
age, so before you even get to the point
of those content descriptors (such as
‘S’ for sex, ‘L’ for language and ‘V’
for violence) parents have to decide
what is appropriate,” Temple said. “As
with other PTC studies, it is very
subjective, so 'reader beware.’ It is
important to remember that parents are
the ultimate authority, and that this
seemingly ‘scary’ study based on vague
methodology is subjective.”
Nonetheless, the PTC and its supporters
don’t simply just want networks to slap
more warnings on programs – they’re
calling on parents, actors, and
advertisers to take action and demand
that the trend to air content based on
teen sexualization be reversed. However,
Temple argued that end of the day it is
up to parents to take control over what
their children can and cannot view.
“Parents understand that all programming
is not for all children and, according
to polling conducted solely among
parents, take seriously their efforts to
ensure their children view what is
appropriate based on their age, taste
and values,” he said. “What is
increasingly difficult to take
seriously, is a patchwork of studies
characterized by vagaries and omissions,
apparently intended to raise money
because the group has the word 'Parents'
in its name."
But
another expert not associated with these
studies or organizations firmly believes
that Hollywood is indeed sexualizing
underage characters on its shows for
profit.
“Certain shows, advertisers, etc.
sexualize underage people, which does
double damage: it sends a message to
youth that their self-worth depends on
their sexuality, and provokes
inappropriate sexual responses from
adults. This is irresponsible
programming and is disrespectful to
youth,” Los Angeles-based psychologist
Dr. Nancy Irwin said. “This (PTC) study
is not being blown out of proportion.”

the haughtiness of the terrible.” What kind of nation have we become? We are an evil
people who have forgotten the Lord God (Deuteronomy 6:12).
Proverb 14:9,
“Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is
favour.” The sinful world mocks sin, turning wickedness into
a joke to laugh about, laughing about
going to Hell, which causes people to view sin as something
not to be taken seriously. According to the Parents

Hollywood is saturated with
elite perverts, pedophiles and homosexuals. Parents Television Council
(PTC) President Tim
Winter exposes the wicked greed of such TV executives that fuels
the sexual exploitation of underaged teen girls for profit:

expected from a heathen reprobate, Mr. Temple is saying that
it's ok for adults to watch underaged teenage girls be sexually
exploited on TV. That's exactly what he is saying. Temple says
that parents are ultimately responsible for what their children
watch on TV, and that is very true; but that in no way justifies
nor makes it right for adults to view the sexual exploitation of
young teenage girls by TV executives to make a profit.
Wrong is
wrong. Mr. Temple is way off issue. The issue is not about what
parents allow their children to watch. The issue is about the
sexual exploitation of underaged teenaged girls by Hollywood
creeps and television executives to make money. That is the
important point that Tim Winter of the Parents
Television Council is
making. It needs to stop!
And for
that matter, it is sinful and wrong for any woman, at any age,
to be lewd in society, deliberately causing lasciviousness to
maintain fame and fortune.
Sandra Bullock
divorced her husband Jesse James in 2010, just months after
saying publicly that he was the very reason for all her success,
and then shared a lesbian kiss on MTV shortly thereafter for the
world to see, reassuring her role as America's lesbian
sweetheart. These are sick-minded people in the Hollywood
culture who will do anything to gain and maintain fame and
fortune.

in the legislative realm are simply implemented by judicial

warnings whatsoever. The internet is saturated with pornography,
heresy, the Devil's music and every evil imaginable.

stopped watching TV a long time ago, and so should you if you
love God. I don't have cable either. I refuse to allow my mind

see their daughters dress, act and behave like whores in
Hollywood; anything for money and fame. Americans have been
DESENSITIZED to the awfulness of sin by the television. In sharp
contrast, the Apostle Paul said that the Bible makes sin
“EXCEEDINGLY SINFUL”
(Romans 7:13).
This is
why the wicked
took the
Word of God out of America's public schools in 1963—so they
could corrupt our children and ruin society.

The Bible plainly evidences in the account of king David committing adultery
with Bath-sheba the dangers of women displaying their naked bodies in
public. David went out on his roof and saw Bathsheba bathing naked and the
rest is history . . .
2nd Samuel 11:2, “And it
came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and
walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a
woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.
And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this

Bath-sheba was either careless or
deliberately seduced king David. The man after God's own heart chose to
commit adultery because of a naked woman. This plainly evidences WHY women
ought to wear proper attire in public. Godless women don't care; Christian women do care. It is sinful for

Katy Perry to lie on
the ground in sensual poses, rolling around in lingerie on TV, jumping
around in their panties on YouTube, behaving like demon-possessed heathens,
and leading the world's young girls to follow their evil example. No wonder
the abortion rate is so high, adultery and fornication are epidemic in
America. God's curse is upon our nation. Condom or not, fornication and
adultery are sins which bring the judgment of God (Romans 1:32; Colossians
3:5-6; Hebrews 13:4).
Nothing has changed in 3,000 years

Hollywood men and women who are not married to kiss, caress and
pretend to make love on camera to arouse lasciviousness in the
evil heart's of viewers. They are making evil. The Bible
condemns such wickedness...

10:6, “Now these things were our examples,
to the intent we should not lust after evil
things, as they also lusted.”
This Scripture speaks
of the Jews who perished in the Wilderness while Moses was away
receiving God's Law. The people made a golden calf and began to
party, stripping naked, committing fornication and all forms of
wickedness in the sight of God. It all began with an idol, like
all the idols in Hollywood and the music industry today. America
is an idolatrous nation. It's known as
Celebrity Worship Syndrome.
Just as rock singer Frank Zappa, who
said he was as a god to whom girls sacrificed their bodies
sexually; likewise do men and women in Hollywood sacrifice their
bodies on the alter of television for the world to sinfully
enjoy. Satan is the god of this evil world, and he certainly
controls television today.

up to play. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of

Here we see the
pre-incarnate existence of Jesus Christ, for the Bible says that
the Jews wandering in the Wilderness TEMPTED CHRIST. Jesus
Christ is almighty God. He existed before the man Christ Jesus
ever entered into the world. Christ always was, and always will
be; He is the beginning and the end; the everlasting Father
(Revelation 1:8; Isaiah 9:6). There is one God (Deuteronomy
6:4); but He (masculine) exists in 3 divine Persons—God the
Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
Everything began with Jesus Christ, and everything will end with
Jesus Christ. Jesus created all things (John 1:1-3; Colossians
1:16 — note: all Scripture quotations are taken only from the
inspired King James Bible).
God will punish the
world for their evil. The wicked may laugh and rejoice today;
but they will be sorrowful and suffer tomorrow. This temporal
world is the only heaven the unsaved will ever enjoy; and the
only hell Christians will ever suffer. The tables will be
turned. In this evil world, Satan rewards the wicked. But in
eternity, the wicked shall be turned into hellfire forever
(Psalm 9:17; Revelation 20:11-15; 2nd Thessalonians 1:8-9). Out
of all the estimated 6.8 billion people alive on the earth
today, 99% of them will be dead within 100 years, if not

It's Not That Hard to Figure Out
Every time there's a horrible crime committed
in America, the manure-spreading newsmedia flocks to witnesses, friends and
relatives of the victim(s) to get their opinion. People always say the same
lame things. They make statements such as, “Bill was the best guy in the
world. It makes no sense. Why would anyone want to hurt a great guy like
Bill?” Or they'll say something like, “Jane gave a lot to the community.
She
was a good mother and wife. We just can't figure out why someone would do
such a thing.” It's really not that hard to figure out. We have removed
children's moral compass. You can't teach children that they evolved from
apes and then actually expect them to grow up to believe in morals. The
fable of evolution robs a child of faith in a Divine Creator, i.e., a God
Who has rules He expects us to live by. No wonder America is in such a big
mess today. And you can believe it's only going to get worse, much worse!
Case in point, in
April of 2009 a father snapped in
Graham, Washington, killing his five children in a shooting rampage, and
then took his own life. Mary Ripplinger, whose kids were playmates of the
slain, stated, “How could something like this happen?” She further stated,
“Everyone's asking: Why did he do it? It's not right.” Is it really that
hard to figure out? Look at all the violence Americans watch on TV . . .
“The American Psychological Association says
the average child watches 8,000 televised murders and 100,000 acts of
violence before finishing elementary school.
That number more than doubles by the time he or she reaches age eighteen.”

violence on television DOES increase social violence . . .
“The Parents Television Council cites a review
of nearly 1000 studies presented to the American College of Forensic
Psychiatry in 1998. They found 'that all but 18 demonstrated that screen
violence leads to real violence, and 12 of those 18 were funded by the
television industry.' ”

Mary says, “Everyone's asking: Why did he do
it? It's not right.” Now, I'm no expert, but I think it might be because we
as a nation have forsaken God, prohibiting public school teachers from
reading the Bible to the students, prohibiting public school teachers from
leading children in prayer, allowing our children to view thousands of
murders on TV and requiring public school teachers to tell children they
evolved from apes. When are we going to wake up as Americans are stop
kidding ourselves? We get what we deserve.
Americans want to spit on God, murder babies by
abortion, fornicate, dress and act like whores, promote witchcraft, watch
immoral sex and violence on TV, glorify wickedness in “Sin City” Las Vegas;
but then freak out when someone actually does what they've enjoyed watching
on TV a thousand times. America is a sicko society. Repent America!
